The Foundation stone of the new CSKA Moscow stadium was laid on May, 19, 2007 in historical place for every Army man at 3 Peschanaya street.

Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov and PFC CSKA President Evgeny Giner were invited to lay the Foundation stone of the new stadium.

«This euro class arena will meet all modern requirements, Head architect of Moscow Alexander Kuzmin said. Youth sport school, business-centre, hotel, CSKA museum will be situated near the stadium. The tower of the stadium will be reminiscence of the UEFA Cup won by Army men in 2005».
